A book full of information about the Mahabharata

I came to know the actual Mahabharata after reading this book. Many misconceptions gathered through other sources are removed after reading this authentic narration as source references are given for fact check. This book should be read by all for knowing our great epic, the geography, history and society of Bharatvarsha during the time of the Mahabharata. I never knew that there is a scientific basis to know the timeline of events which has been presented by the author in a simple manner.

An interesting narration of the Mahabharata and a delightful reading. The characters come alive in the vivid description of their emotions and actions. The story runs in such a smooth flow that it carries the reader along. The timeline of the Mahabharata as derived from positions of stars and planets is enlightening. The amount of information about the epic in the narration and in the appendices is a unique feature of the book. A must read for everybody to know the real Mahabharata.
