SHERMILA MILROY is a scholar and educator with a profound interest in the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern education. She holds a PhD from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where her groundbreaking research examined Action Research Concepts through the Lens of Buddhist philosophy. In her book, The Buddha as an Action Researcher based on her thesis, Dr. Milroy explores the academic value of the Buddha's mission, framing the Bodhisattva's journey toward enlightenment and action research methods applied in his subsequent teachings.

With a Bachelor of Science from the United States and a Master of Education from Malaysia, Dr. Milroy brings a global perspective to her work.
