About the Author:
Hira Ballabh Joshi is a distinguished member of the Indian Civil Service and a trained sociologist. A significant figure in Sanatan Hindu Dharma, his books on Hindu Dharma, especially those on the Garuda Purana, have gained wide popularity. The many scriptural references in his works reflect his profound understanding of the subject. He seeks to clarify perspectives on key concepts of Hindu philosophy, such as Dharma, Atma (soul), Karma, Moksha (liberation), the cyclical nature of change, and the divine.
Socially active, Joshi is the founder of the Hindu Purohit Sangh, which strives to create a reformed, accessible, and inclusive priesthood. He views the Purohit structure as akin to the nervous system of Hindu Dharma.
