Herein lies a saga of divine paradox-one of gods and demons, devoted servants and double agents, everlasting love and supreme devotion, and the ultimate deception, wielded for the greater good. It is also a testament to the history of an oppressed people who resisted tyranny and triumphed to survive to the present day.
The author, Śrī Nārāyaņa Panditācārya, was the son of Śrī Trivikrama Panditācārya, a direct disciple of Śrī Madhvācārya. He composed Mani-mañjarī as a prelude to his larger work, Sumadhva-vijaya, the primary biography of Śrī Madhvācārya.
Though ostensibly polemical and the subject of ongoing controversy over the centuries, for the keen student, this text bears the keys to unlocking many longstanding mysteries across numerous branches of the Vaisņava tradition. Please refer to the preface within for a detailed textual analysis.
