Mahabharata: The Greatest Spiritual Epic of All Time

Krishna Dharma has been a teacher and scholar of the ancient Sanskrit writings of India for the past 40 years. He represents an unbroken chain of teachers that extends back for thousands of years to Lord Krishna. His spiritual guide is His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, a great scholar of the Vedas who translated over sixty volumes of those ancient Sanskrit texts into English, and who started the world famous Hare Krishna Movement. Dharma has written popular retellings of Mahabharata, Ramayana, Panchatantra and the Bhagavata Purana (Srimad Bhagavatam). He founded a bhakti-yoga centre in Manchester, England, and is a broadcaster and author of numerous articles presenting the Vedic perspective on our modern dilemmas. He is married with three children and lives with his wife Chintamani in London.

Dharma successfully captures the mood and majesty of a rich and ancient epic, and in the process, does full justice to the critical elements of the complex story... A well-wrought saga that will be appreciated by Western readers and admirably serve to introduce a new generation to the rich spiritual, cultural, and historic legacy of India. Highly recommended." -The Midwest Book Review, USA

"Rarely, if ever, has an ancient epic received such modern blockbuster treatment The narrative moves effortlessly, often as racily as a thriller, without compromising the elevated style and diction. The visual imagery is every bit as impressive as anything achieved in the cinematic editions." -Mahesh Nair, India Today, INDIA
