Isvara Pratyabhijna Karika of Utpaladeva: Verses on the recognition of the Lord

The Isvara Pratyabhijna Karika (IPK) of Utpaladeva is the foremost work of Pratyabhijna Darsana and contains the core argumentation in support of this important Saiva philosophy as well as refutations of and disputations with Buddhist, Vedantin and Ritualist siddhantas. In the centre of Kashmir Saivism, the IPK is a foundational text not only in non-dualist Saivism but a ground work for Saiva and Sakta Tantrism.
