The present book contains 20 articles grouped into three sections contributed by 24 scholars of fame from all parts of the country. The first section of the book contains six articles relating to various conceptual and qualitative issues on teachers education which are necessary to think in new perspectives. In the second part of the book, five articles are related to the professionalism of teacher education so that quality of teacher education may be enhanced. The last part of the book contains nine articles relating to communicative competence, knowledge of environmental curriculum, life skills attributes, value patterns, emotional maturity, personality characteristics and job satisfaction of teachers at different levels of education which are considered to be the essential for Horizon of Teacher Education.

Ed. and Ph.D. At present, he is National President, Praachi Psycho-cultural Research Association, Meerut; Chairman, Harprasad Institute of Behavioural Studies, Agra; Director, National Psychological Corporation, (largest organization of developing psychological tests), Agra : President : Indian Psychometry and Educational Research Association, Patna Vice President , Society for community Mobilisation for Sustained Development, New Delhi, Hony. Director Samadhan Kendra, Agra . He had been the Recorder and President, Section of Anthropological and Behavioural Sciences of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata; Treasurer and secretary of Indian Psychological Associations. (I. P. A), New Delhi and Psycho-linguistic Association of India (PLAI), Raipur for many years and the Executive Member of a dozen of Professional Associations Still he is associated as life member of about 50 professional organizations. He is the Editor of Psycho-lingua, Joint Editor of IJPE and consulting editor of eight reputed journals of the country.
He has published 175 research papers and theoretical articles in various reputed national journals, eleven psychological tests were developed by him twenty two books were reviewed by him in various journals. He has edited 32 perstigious books notably 'Dynamics of Parental Behaviour','Glimpses of Higher Education','Modern Psychology and Human Life', Prospects of Mental Health', Horizon of Teacher Education', Professional competency in Teaching, 'Innovation in Modern Educational Research', Managing Interpersonal Communication', 'Our India : The Politico Cultural Geography' and 'Psychology for Healthy Living' etc. of well know authors of the field, besides this he has also contributed 16 books both reference and text-book in English and Hindi medium popularly known as 'Exceptional Children ' and ' Towards Personality Excellence' He has contributed about 50 articles of general nature. He has participated in about 200 seminars and conferences and also has the experience of organizing about 40 academic programmes.
Dr. (Mrs.) Hassen Taj obtained her M. Ed. and Ph. D. form the University of Bangalore. She has been on the faculty of Education, Bangalore University since 1986. She was a First Rank holder and a University Gold Medalist in her M.Ed. Course. She is a recipient of "State Award" (1984). "National Award" (1996), "Professional Involvement Award" (1998) and " and "Best Teacher Award" (1998), "Behavioural Schientist Award" (2001) and " Women Empowerment Year (2001). National Level Special Award (2003) for her excellence in research. She has been chosen as " Member of Professional wormen's Advisory Board" for her distinguished sranding by ABI, USA> She has done quite a few book reviews and has published 12 books, in addition to publishing 105 research / theoretical articles in journals of National and International standards' and repute. She has quided several M.Ed./ M. Phil. dissertations besides guiding Ph. D's. She has developed and standardized 30 research tools and has published 17 out of them. She has attended several National/ International level Seminars/ Conferences and presented papers. She has is a member of several academic boards/bodies , besides holding honorary positions in NGO's and office bearer of a 25 academic/professional organizations. She has chaired several sessions in National/International level Seminars/Conferences and has also worked as resource person at different levels in different fields.
