The book was written mainly, as is usually the case with diaries, to help us to relive the path we have travelled. We have let the book settle for several years. Perhaps we had doubts about the value it could have for its readers? Reserve about exposing ourselves too much? Or had we simply forgotten it at the bottom of a drawer...? Now, at the request of a dear friend whom it had seemed natural to allow to read it, we decided that perhaps it was worth publishing as the testimony of a spiritual path, but also to show that authentic spiritual life is not just the prerogative of a few. We therefore decided to overcome our reserve, realizing that our experience, like every human experience, is not individual, and that to communicate it in its simplicity, its nudity, almost, could perhaps offer joy and hope to those on the path towards the goal to which every human being on earth is called. Each word in this narrative is authentic and devoid of idealistic embellishment, and is offered simply like the symbolic stone that pilgrims place on the votive mounds at the foot of mount kailasa. Raimon panikkar and milena carrara pavan, 2009

This diary tells a cosmotheandric story from a small human standpoint.  It is a personal story, but It also counts as an archetype.  It is a beat in the cosmic symphony we have played probably unconsciously.
