Through Lenses of a Teenaged Heart

In this book, Praapti has registered her experiences as a teenager, weaving figments of reality and imagination. These poems, which were written over the span of last 5 years, exhibit the evolution in thinking; the simple ones turning maturer, as they transform into deeper reflections and appreciations of life. The poems are interconnected since they reflect upon the feelings that the teenagers encounter as they transition from childhood to adulthood. If this collection succeeds in making her audience relate to her emotions, Praapti will consider herself rewarded beyond measure.

About the Author:

PRAAPTI is a teenaged poet and creative writer based in Chennai. 16 years old and studying in XI standard, she has been writing ever since she could frame sentences. Poems intrigue her by way of creative expression. Her first poem was written at the age of 3 years, and was published in the Nursery Book of Poems in Macclesfield, UK. At school level, she has won many awards and gained immense recognition. At National Level, her works are published by Catalyst Foundation, Competition Success Review Magazine and Chaicopy, the literary journal by Manipal Centre for Humanities. At international level, her work is published by Odyssey Youth Literary Magazine.
