Dattatreya Tantram

Dattatreya Tantram is a rare and revered classical text that unfolds the mystical teachings associated with Lord Dattatreya, the supreme Guru who embodies the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva Structured as a profound dialogue between Lord Parameswara (Shiva) and Dattatreya Maharshi, the text is also known as "Siromani" - the gem in the head.

The work expounds two great knowledge streams: Kala Tantra (Astrology) and Kala Mantra (Medicine). Kala Tantra concerns the study of time-past, present, and future-including determination of the time of death. Kala Mantra is the secret branch dealing with medicinal applications in tantric worship.

Though only 15 chapters of the original 18 are available, this text remains indispensable for understanding astrological and tantric traditions. Lord Shiva is presented as the ultimate originator of astrological knowledge, with the text revealing the method of death time determination through the 12-petal Rasi Chakra
